Linkers & Anchoring Reagents

Linkers

Connect biological targets to the hydrogel with linkers and anchoring reagents for expansion microscopy (ExM). Anchoring introduces chemical functionality that allows a target or label to become incorporated into the polymer network during gelation, supporting its retention through subsequent sample processing.

Chrometra’s range brings together reagents for different targets and labelling strategies. The Acrylink family includes amine-reactive reagents for protein modification and chemistry for nucleic acid anchoring. Other products combine target labelling with anchoring functionality, including AB ExM for antibody conjugation and Membrane ExM for lipid-based membrane labelling.

Selection depends on the molecule being modified, its available reactive groups and the role of the reagent in your workflow. Consider whether you need an anchoring reagent alone or a product that also introduces a label or detection handle. Explore the products below for their chemical functionality, intended use and available formats.
