Visualise microtubule organisation in expanded samples with Tubulin ExM Biotin. This taxane-derived reagent combines targeting of polymerised tubulin with a polymerisable group for hydrogel anchoring and a biotin tag for subsequent fluorescent detection.
During the expansion microscopy workflow, the labelled microtubule structures are incorporated into the polymer network. Following embedding and expansion, the biotin tag can be detected using fluorescent streptavidin, separating microtubule targeting from the final fluorescence readout.
This two-step approach provides flexibility when selecting a fluorescent streptavidin compatible with the imaging channels used in the experiment. It can therefore be useful when combining microtubule visualisation with additional fluorescent labels in multiplexed samples.
By combining microtubule targeting, hydrogel anchoring and biotin-based detection, Tubulin ExM Biotin supports detailed imaging of the microtubule cytoskeleton while retaining flexibility in the final detection step.
Available sizes
• Small (S): up to 100 staining reactions
• Large (L): up to 300 staining reactions
The number of reactions depends on the sample size and staining conditions.
