Acrylink Biotin
Reagent for biotin tagging and grafting
Acrylink Biotin is a versatile reagent designed for covalent biotinylation and anchoring of biomolecules in Expansion Microscopy workflows. Built on a multifunctional design, Acrylink Biotin combines:
- an active ester group for efficient coupling to amines on proteins, antibodies, or functianlized nucleic acids
- a polymerizable acrylate moiety for incorporation into the hydrogel network, and
- a biotin tag for subsequent high-affinity detection via streptavidin-based probes.
This triple-function chemistry enables researchers to both anchor biomolecules securely into the gel and retain the ability to flexibly amplify or detect signals post-expansion through biotin-streptavidin interactions.
Key Features:
- Direct biotinylation and hydrogel anchoring in one step
- Robust covalent retention of targets during ExM
- Compatible with streptavidin-based amplification for enhanced sensitivity
- Flexible use in pre- and post-expansion labeling strategies
Available Sizes:
- Small – 1 mg
- Large – 5 mg
With Acrylink Biotin, you gain a powerful tool for anchoring, detecting, and amplifying biomolecular signals in expanded samples, enabling high-resolution insights while maintaining compatibility with standard fluorescence workflows.
