Tubulin ExM Biotin
Tubulin visualization with Streptavidin staining
Tubulin Biotin is a specialized reagent for robust visualization of the microtubule cytoskeleton in Expansion Microscopy. Using taxane-derived chemistry, it binds specifically to polymerized tubulin filaments and introduces both a polymerizable acrylate group for covalent hydrogel anchoring and a biotin tag for flexible downstream detection.
Once the sample is embedded and expanded, microtubules labeled with Tubulin Biotin can be visualized using fluorescent streptavidin conjugates, offering bright, uniform staining with the possibility of signal amplification through multivalent streptavidin binding. This post-staining approach ensures excellent retention of microtubule structures while providing researchers with flexibility in choosing fluorophores to match multiplexed imaging experiments.
