Acrylink TFP

Acrylink TFP is an amine-reactive reagent for anchoring proteins, antibodies and other primary-amine-containing biomolecules in expansion microscopy. It combines tetrafluorophenyl (TFP) ester chemistry with a polymerisable group to connect biomolecules to the hydrogel.

The TFP ester provides the amine-coupling functionality, distinguishing Acrylink TFP from NHS-ester-based linkers. After coupling, the polymerisable group incorporates the modified biomolecules into the gel during polymerisation, supporting their retention through subsequent processing.

Acrylink TFP is applied before gelation and is used as a general linker in Chrometra’s membrane, lectin and tubulin expansion microscopy protocols.
