Tubulin ExM

Visualise the microtubule cytoskeleton in expanded samples with Tubulin ExM. This taxane-derived reagent targets polymerised tubulin and carries a polymerisable group that enables the labelled structures to be incorporated into the hydrogel during gelation.

By anchoring the probe to the polymer network, Tubulin ExM is designed to retain microtubule labelling throughout the expansion microscopy workflow. Fluorescent detection can then be introduced after expansion, separating microtubule targeting from the final imaging step.

This approach supports detailed visualisation of microtubule organisation in expanded samples, including the distribution and architecture of the microtubule network. It also provides flexibility when planning fluorescence channels alongside other labels in an expansion microscopy experiment.

Available sizes

• Small (S): up to 100 staining reactions

• Large (L): up to 300 staining reactions

The number of reactions depends on the sample size and staining conditions.
